The HEN Foundation is a 501(c )3 certified nonprofit organization that works to fund progressive artist-activists and build a supporting community of artists that share in the fundamental principle of activism through art. The HEN Foundation serves as an umbrella under which artists present their causes and artistic work and is currently celebrating the completion of its first award cycle. In its first year, the foundation awarded grants to the Beehive Collective (a graphic arts collective working on preventing mountain top coal harvestation) and Anne Feeney (an internationally known labor rights singer/songwriter hosting the HEN Coup at the G20 summit in September).
